Recycle and Support QES – Did you know? You can donate your recyclable beverage containers to Queen Elizabeth School? Simply drop off your containers to Valley Redemption at 323 Collishaw, Moncton. If there is a lineup, proceed to the cashier and simply tell them that they are being donated to the Queen Elizabeth school account and they will accept them from you immediately. The money raised will help with various activities throughout the school year. Share this information with friends, family members and neighbours! Thank you for your support.
Crochet Club – The crochet club will begin after the Thanksgiving weekend on Friday, Oct. 13 at noon. It will tentatively take place on Mondays and Fridays. October and November will be start up and learn the stitches months. There will be no crochet club in December due to other activities and clubs students join in preparation for the Holiday concerts. The club will begin once again in January after the holidays until finish up the project times in March and April. Granny squares, coasters and more will be created.
Socktober is back! Our grade 5 students will be collecting NEW socks, gloves/mittens and toiletries during the month of October. Items will be donated to local shelters. New items only please. There will be a prize for the class with the most donations!
