On February 23, 2024, Mr. Gallant’s grade 4/5 class will be participating in a Rock-a-thon in the Queen Elizabeth School gymnasium. The students will rock on rocking chairs for a total of ten consecutive hours (from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am). All funds raised will be immediately donated to the family of Isiah Mallery, an eight-year-old boy from St. André near Cap Pelé, who suffers from a spinal cord injury sustained in an ATV accident in 2021. Isiah continues to need a great deal of care and the class is very eager to make a significant monetary contribution to help his family with some of their immediate needs. ROCKstar News:
This year’s Friends of the Moncton Hospital Kids’ Radiothon fundraiser was a huge success. The ROCKstars raised more money this year than any other year we have participated. We are proud to say that as of now, it appears as though our grand total will surpass $2000. All proceeds will go towards the neonatal unit at the Moncton Hospital. We thank all of our Queen E families and staff for your amazing support with this fundraiser. We are proud and honoured to be a part of this event each year!
Grade 8 Mini-Cheesecake Fundraiser
The Grade 8’s are selling the delicious Mini- Cheesecakes again this year to raise money to support the cost of their end of year activities.
This is one of our most successful fundraisers and the Grade 8’s hope it will be again this year!
To have the cheesecakes in time for Easter the fundraiser forms will go out Monday February 26th.
Collection dates will be March 1st, March 13th, and March 15th. No orders will be accepted after March 15th at noon.
Delivery will be the week before Easter, March 27th or 28th.
Each box of Mini-Cheesecakes contains an assorted dozen with six flavours x 2 each and are about the size of a two-bite brownie. Some of the most popular flavours are: Oreo, salted caramel, blueberry, black forest, white chocolate raspberry, etc… * Some flavours contain nuts.
